Can you believe we’re only one week away from the UK release of Cross the Line? For me, time has somehow moved so slowly and yet so fast at the same time. It feels like it was just yesterday that I got the email from my would-be editor at Pan Macmillan with an offer that would ultimately change the entire trajectory of my writing career. At the same time, it also feels like it’s been years since then, especially with all the things I’ve had to do since.
But the day is finally almost here! And I still have so much fun news to share. Let me start with the bit that I’ve been the absolute MOST excited about (and have had a hell of a time trying to keep secret!!!!)
If you live in the UK, you probably know all about The Works, and I’m thrilled to announce that they’re offering an exclusive edition of Cross the Line!
Look at those sprayed edges!! I’m honestly obsessed, this edition is absolutely STUNNING.
There’s a limited number available, so grab yours in store or online while they’re still in stock for £5.50! 🎉
Speaking of the UK, I’m going to be in London for publication day. I certainly couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see my debut novel in stores (and also I just love London, can you really blame me for booking a plane ticket).
And while I’m in London, I’ll be doing two events!
On Sunday, May 26th I’ll be hanging out with the fabulous Pit Wall Recs team at their Monaco Grand Prix watch party. After the race, I’ll be doing a Q&A which will be available to watch on Instagram Live. The event is sold out, so be sure to tune into the Live!
And then on Wednesday, May 29th I’ll be chatting about Cross the Line and all things romance with the wonderful Soraya Bouazzaoui at The Common Press Bookshop. Tickets are still available for this event, so grab one and come hang out with us!
For my US-based friends, I’ll hopefully do a few things when Cross the Line comes out in July! In the meantime, Berkley is hosting a giveaway for a copy of the book.
Click here to go to the official giveaway page and for all the official rules. This one ends on May 20th, so head on over and get your entry in! (Must be 18+ and a US resident)
In other really nice news, Cross the Line was featured in People and in “Readers’ 48 Hottest New Romances for Summer” on Goodreads. People even called it a “must-read.” 🥹
I know I say it a lot, but I mean it every single time: I’m so thankful to all the people who have taken a chance on me and this book, because I wouldn’t be here without you all. You’re simply the best. Thanks for helping to make my dreams come true.
All my love,
Simone
